Our Programs

Straight Arrow Horizons offers a coordinated set of services designed to help young adults build stability and independence after foster care. Our programs focus on safe housing, life-skills development, mentorship, and safety awareness so every resident can transition into adulthood with stability and confidence.

Core Transitional Program

Straight Arrow Horizons creates a stable living environment where young adults ages 18–21 transitioning out of foster care can rebuild, grow, and prepare for independence.

Through structure, support, and individualized planning, we help residents take meaningful steps toward their future.

Our Housing Program provides:

  • Secure, well-maintained housing
  • Support staff and mentorship
  • Individualized case management
  • Employment, education & financial planning support
  • Guidance toward permanent housing

Straight Path to
Success
Program

Straight Arrow Horizons primarily serves young adults ages 18–21 transitioning out of foster care. Young adults ages 22–24 may be eligible for the Straight Path to Success Program based on capacity and demonstrated need.

Straight Path To Success is an extension of Straight Arrow Horizons’ Core Transitional Program and supports young adults ages 22–24 who require continued guidance after completing the 18–21 program.

These young adults who are still vulnerable are ready for greater independence and focus on employment placement, housing stabilization, financial capability, and long-term self-sufficiency.

This program provides non-clinical services including life-skills education, mentorship, goal planning, and referrals to community resources. It does not provide therapy, medical care, legal advice, or emergency services.

Residents may enter the Straight Path To Success Program by successfully completing the Core Transitional Program or through a documented referral from an approved child-welfare or foster care–services partner.
